The role involves providing high-quality direct patient care and clinical technical support to ensure the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
• Assist with medical procedures and ensure safe use of clinical technology
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting significant changes
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and professional standards
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Mandatory:
• Registered Nurse qualification with valid registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
• Advantageous:
• Clinical Technologist qualification
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of patient care practices and clinical technology
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work under pressure, handle emergencies, and solve problems
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends as required
